About us

We built Villari because someone
we loved got scammed.

Not as a business observation. As a family experience. That’s where this started, and it’s why we haven’t stopped.

The story behind it

Digital scams don’t target ignorance. They target trust — the kind that makes a person click a link from what looks like their bank, or call a number that appears to be from Medicare. The kind that any of us could fall for on the wrong day.

When it happened in our families, we looked for protection that was built for this specific threat; something proactive, something designed for people who aren’t cybersecurity professionals, and designed to give them peace of mind about their vulnerable loved ones online. We didn’t find it. So we built it.

“If you’re going to do something, do it right. Build it for the people who actually need it — not as an afterthought, not retrofitted from something built for kids or corporations.” — on why Villari exists

Who we are

Villari is led by a team that has known each other for decades — long before there was a company, a product, or a plan. Trust like that doesn’t come from a networking event. It comes from showing up for each other through different chapters of life and work.

Lon White is a nationally recognized security leader whose career spans more than 20 years across corporate security, crisis management, cyber response, and soft target protection. An ASIS Board Certified Protection Professional (CPP) — widely regarded as the highest accreditation in the security profession — Lon has advised organizations at the highest levels on global risk management, emergency preparedness, information protection, and high-risk incident response.

His leadership experience bridges both Fortune 50 and entrepreneurial environments, including oversight of Cyber Security Response operations at a $16 billion healthcare organization and the development of protection strategies for vulnerable communities, critical infrastructure, and public-facing institutions.

Through his firm, White Noise Security Consulting, Lon has secured more than $3.5 million in federal and state homeland security funding for at-risk organizations and trained thousands of individuals nationwide — including educators, clergy, camp counselors, nonprofit leaders, and community members — in practical safety, preparedness, and crisis response measures. Schools, houses of worship, community organizations, and private residences across the country are safer because of his work.

Lon’s career has been built around a simple principle: anticipate problems before they happen — then build the systems, teams, and training needed to stop them.

Our engineering team brings deep experience in software architecture and systems development — the expertise that turns a protection concept into infrastructure that actually works at scale.

Our marketing team is led by a growth marketing visionary with a background in strategic partnership building and alliances supporting business-to-business and consumer channels.

Everyone who has joined Villari — engineers, designers, advisors, partners — shares the same starting point: they’ve seen this problem up close, and they decided to do something about it.

What we believe

Trust is earned, not assumed. Messages and activities remain private. We don’t sell data. We don’t track your location. We don’t surveil. We built Villari to protect people from outside threats — not to become one from inside the home.

Dignity comes first. The people we protect are not problems to be managed. They are people to be respected. Our technology reflects that.

Independence matters. The goal isn’t to limit what someone can do online. It’s to extend how long they can do it safely and confidently.

Protection is a right, not a product feature. You shouldn’t have to be a cybersecurity professional to keep the people you love safe online.

Prevention beats reaction. By the time antivirus catches something, the damage is often done. We act at the moment before — the only moment that counts.

Our mission

A world where everyone — no matter their age or ability — can navigate the digital world with confidence, independence, dignity, and security.

Why this, why now

The cybersecurity industry has spent decades optimizing for corporate customers. The enterprise contracts are bigger, the IT departments are easier to sell to, and the problems are more legible to investors.

Meanwhile, older adults — the people most targeted by online fraud, the people losing the most money, the people with the most to lose — have been an afterthought. Retrofitted solutions. Parental controls rebranded. VPNs that hide your location but do nothing about the phishing page you just loaded.

Villari is not a retrofit. It was built from the ground up for this problem, this audience, and this moment. Because the people who need protection most deserve something built specifically for them.
